They are great parameters. I had to make myself stop tweaking them.

You know what, it is not only the structure which is complex, it is also the colour/colour distribution, the way the pattern flows. I've seen other great MdB 3D works and most of them was about the complexity of the pattern..This one in my humble opinion (not an artist just a fractal hobbyist) is so much more....It is like a symphony...

Truthfully, I'm enjoying this.
By John the Fox AKA Christian
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the Deep End of the Lake,
I see some smooth bridges descend
Down some spiralling, watery abyss.
Truthfully, I'm enjoying this.
I definitely do not have an ache
When seeing this masterpiece ascend
With vigorous relaxation and bliss.
Truthfully, I'm enjoying this.
In the Deep End of the Lake,
I see some strolling bridges midst
A smooth, colliding trance of ache.
I see some ends and beginnings twist
In euphoria and relaxation.
I highly recommend this piece
Of watery, surreal, infinite locations
Where keys, lockers, and galleries
Descend in a crescendo downward on
Enchanting rhythms visually beyond.
All in all, I love this piece.
Occasionally I tweak his parameters too.
BTW, If this was my fractal, I would have tried some reflections on it to give it a sort of metallic look. [link]
I tried your suggestion. For some reason the reflections added an unacceptable amount of grain and noise to the image. Good idea though!
Strange. I don't know much about Mandelbulb (despite there are plenty tutorials on YouTube and here on :devart:) I go to post Processing tab, I tick the boxes: 'Calculate R. (+ T) automatically' and 'calc only a selection in the image', draw with my mouse a square in the image and press in the same tab 'calculate now'...
It's post-processing, I don't press the normal big 'calculate 3D' button.
I did exactly that, and tried a variety of settings but the result was not pleasing: niosy and grainy. I'm surprised too - first time it's ever happened.
